Ray Anthony Lewis III accused of sexual assault

A son of former Ravens great Ray Lewis was arrested Friday in South Carolina andcharged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Ray Anthony Lewis III, 20, is accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman while knowing she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Conway City police said. The alleged incident occurred early in the morning Jan. 23, across the street from Coastal Carolina, where Lewis is a student, police said. A spokesman for the athletic department said that upon his arrest, Lewis was suspended from the football team indefinitely. NAVY FOOTBALL: Cornerback Brendon Clements was reinstated to the team by coach Ken Niumatalolo. Clements was removed from the roster in late January because of a violation of academy rules. Clements has started 35 games and made 159 tackles, broken up 14 passes, intercepted seven passes and forced three fumbles through three seasons. ...
