ADAM PATRICK STONE,

-

age 48, went to Heaven on Thursday, October 18 surrounded by his family. He was born March 17,1975, in Little Rock where he grew up. Born on St. Patrick’s Adam’s life was characterized by his generous heart and love of God, family, friends and the great outdoors.

Adam grew up in Little Rock, and later lived in Prescott, Ariz., where he attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University before moving to Fayetteville, Ark. He married Kamie Meeks September 12, 2009 and was blessed three years later with the birth of their beloved daughter, Maggie Rose Stone. To Adam, Maggie was the light of his life.

Adam was an accomplished musician and loved playing guitar with friends and family. An avid outdoorsman, Adam loved fishing, hiking, canoeing and exploring the rivers and streams of Arkansas with his long-time “band of brothers.” His time with Kamie and Maggie were among his greatest treasures. Family adventures to faraway places and cheering Maggie on at school performances, soccer games and in her own keyboard performances were favorites.

Adam was a nurturer who also loved his long-time four-legged friend Australian shepherd, Abby. Adam loved his Mom’s chicken and dumplings and anything cooked over a campfire.

A small celebration of Adam’s life for family and close friends will be held at All Souls Church in Scott, Ark., on October 29, 2023.
