68, of Sherwood, Ark., passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, under the care of Arkansas Hospice. He was born June 11, 1953, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Hachik and Donna Melikian.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He served his country from July 1970 to June 1976, when he was Honorably Discharged at the Rank of Sergeant (E-5). The lifetime physical effects of his military service resulted in his Disabled American Veteran classifica­tion of 100%.

He had a long career in the Heating and Air Conditioni­ng Industry and founded Total Care Maintenanc­e Services LLC.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hachik and Donna Melikian of Sherwood. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Monica; his immediate loving family, Dona, Doug, Lisa, Rhonda, Chris, and Stefan; his granddaugh­ters who were the joy of his life and who lovingly called him Pokey: Hailey, Kyndal, Hannah, and Reagan. He leaves behind his longtime friends and bonus family, Travis, Emily, Carson, and Cooper.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Sherwood, 701 Country Club, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow 12 p.m., at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue.
