went to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the age of 76. He was born on December 2, 1944 to the late William and Johnnie Walker, Sr.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Walker and Burton Walker; one sister, Annie Mae Walker. Jerry is survived by

his loving wife of 51 years, Ardelia Walker; his children, Anita Jackson, Cassandra Walker, Jerry Walker, Jr., Patricia Swinton (Reggie, Sr.), Curtis Walker (Dekeata); numerous grandchild­ren and great-grands; sisters, Jeanne Moss, Bessie Thrower (Josiah), Mannie Walker; brothers, Billy Walker, William Clayton Walker; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends whom he loved dearly.

Jerry was a United States Army veteran, receiving many medals and awards. His civilian profession was in contract sales until his retirement. From the age of 14, he played golf and enjoyed participat­ing in a host of tournament­s and benefits for worthy causes. Jerry graduated from Jones High School and Shorter College. He was a member of St. Peters Rock Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and in other capacities.

A walk-through visitation will be held Friday, May 14, 2021, noon to 4 p.m. at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark. Masks are required and social spacing is observed.

The viewing service will be held at St. Peters Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 2201 Brown Street, Little Rock, Ark., 72204, on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10 a.m.; the homegoing service will be immediatel­y after at 11 a.m. The burial will be on Monday, May 17, 2021, at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Avenue, North Little Rock, Ark., at 11 a.m. Arrangemen­ts are by Ruffin and Jarrett Funeral Home.
