Independence Day closings

The following state, federal and local government offices’ schedules may be affected by the Independence Day holiday Wednesday.

GARBAGE COLLECTION

Cammack Village: Thursday’s route will run Friday.

Jacksonville: Wednesday and Thursday pickup will run one day late. Little Rock: Wednesday-Friday pickup will be one day late.

Little Rock Recycling: All routes will run one day late.

Maumelle: Wednesday’s pickup will run one day late. Friday will be regular schedule. North Little Rock: Wednesday-Friday pickup will be one day late. Sherwood: Wednesday’s route will run Thursday. All other routes will be as scheduled.

Wrightsville: All routes will run one day late. Unincorporated areas of Pulaski County: north of the river: All routes will run one day late. south of the river: All routes will run one day late.

GOVERNMENT OFFICES

Cammack Village: Offices will be

closed Wednesday.

Jacksonville: Offices will be closed Wednesday. Little Rock Water Reclamation

Authority: Offices will be closed Wednesday.

Little Rock: Offices will be closed Wednesday.

Maumelle: Offices will be closed Wednesday. North Little Rock: Offices will be closed Wednesday.

Sherwood: Offices will be closed Wednesday. Wrightsville: Offices will be closed Wednesday. Pulaski County: Offices will be closed Wednesday. Pulaski County Courthouse:

Offices will be closed Wednesday. State: Offices will be closed Wednesday.

Federal: Offices will be closed Wednesday. State Capitol: Closed Wednesday.

POST OFFICE

Offices will be closed Wednesday. Routes will not be run and collection boxes will not be checked.

LIBRARIES

Central Arkansas Library System: Closes at 6 p.m. today.

Closed Wednesday. North Little Rock Laman Library: Closed Wednesday. Clinton Presidential Center:

Open 9 am.- 5 p.m. with free admission Wednesday.

SCHOOLS

Jacksonville North Pulaski: Offices will be closed.

Little Rock: Offices will be closed. North Little Rock: Offices will be closed. Pulaski County Special: Offices will be closed.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS TRANSIT AUTHORITY

Offices will be closed. Buses and River Rail street cars will not run Wednesday.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS WATER

Offices will be closed Wednesday.

PARKING

The Little Rock parking enforcement unit won’t give tickets for metered and timed spaces Wednesday in observance of Independence Day. However, metered parking at the airport will be enforced at all times.
