From Brad Dickson of the Omaha (Neb.) World-Herald:

“If you’re somebody who says, ‘I watch the Super Bowl just for the commercials,’ there’s an excellent chance that we are not friends.”

“I wouldn’t say the Super Bowl halftime show lasted a long time, but by the time it was over Tom Brady was 42.”

“Justin Timberlake performed at halftime of the Super Bowl. If he really wanted to throw a scare into NBC executives, he should’ve gone, ‘I’d like to bring Janet Jackson up on stage.’ ”

“Sports these days are out of control. Take Sunday’s game, which involved enormous money, huge egos and an audience of 100 million — and that’s just the Kitten Bowl.”

“It’s actually easier to get a reliable injury report on the Kitten Bowl than from the Patriots.”
