Painting exhibition
Works by New York photorealist painter Eric Forstmann will be on display Monday-Friday in the Thea Foundation Gallery, 401 Main St., North Little Rock. The artist will give a talk at 7 p.m. Thursday, part of a special 6:30-9 p.m. reception that will include music by Amasa Hines and heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks. Singers sought
The Arkansas Chamber Singers will hold auditions for singers for its 2013-14 season, titled “The Spirit Soars in Song,” by appointment, beginning at 5 p.m. Aug. 20 at St. James United Methodist Church, 321 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock.
