March 16, 1933 – March 21, 2021 “Love is my message. Let it be your message too. Love is my colour and my climate. Let love grow in you and God will be growing of its own acc ord.” - Osho Dick was a high-energy, scholarly man, whose interests and knowledge were far-reaching. He had a quick wit and loved to make people laugh, up until the very end. He was a man who was loyal and trusted the goodness of his fellow men and who loved deeply his family and friends. He yearned for a “world that worked for eve ryone.”

Dick is survived by his first wife, Caroline Baxter, and their children Bruce M. Forbes, Laura F. Rosa, Marjorie F. Crosley, and Diana F. Arcadipane, 9 grandchild­ren and 2 step grandchild­ren. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret A. Forbes, who adored him, and by her children, his 4 stepchildr­en: Charles Pfeffer, Amy-Louise Pfeffer, Richard Pfeffer, and Elizabeth Pfeffer, 7 grandchild­ren including Ana Maria and Nico Hernandez-Pfeffer of Albuquerqu­e, and 2 step grandchild­ren. A new generation of great grandchild­ren has begun.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given c/o Professor Steven Walsh, UNM’s Anderson School of Management Technology Entreprene­urship and Management of Technology programs and the Cathedral of St. John, Music Gifts or Friends of Cathedral Music.

A funeral service will be held at The Cathedral of St. John, 318 Silver Avenue SW, Albuquerqu­e, NM 87103, on Friday, April 23, 2021, at 11 o’clock AM.
