PLAN AHEAD
Virtual program on mindfulness planned
The Rev. Immanuel van Tonder, pastor of the Christ Community Reformed Church, will present a virtual program on mindfulness at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 1 via Zoom.
Organizers say mindfulness makes us aware of unique capabilities we already have, enabling us to live with and even thrive in times of pain, aging, unease, frustrations and the pandemic. The program is sponsored by Shenendehowa Neighbors Connecting, a village serving residents of the Shenendehowa School District, helping older adults age in their own homes by connecting them to neighbors, educational/social programs and community services.
