Red Bulls can’t hang on to 2-1 advantage over final minutes vs. the Revolution

Gustavo Bou scored once and the New England Revolution secured a 3-2 win over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday.

Wikelman Carmona gave the Red Bulls (5-7-3) a 1-0 advantage in the eighth minute, assisted by Kyle Duncan. Bou tied the game for the Revolution (11-3-3) in the 60th minute, assisted by Dejuan Jones.

Fabio put the Red Bulls ahead 2-1 in the 63rd minute, assisted by Caden Clark. Brandon Bye tied it at 2 for the Revolution in the 84th minute, assisted by Carles Gil.

Adam Buksa finished off the victory for the Revolution in the first minute of second-half stoppage time, assisted by Gil.

The Revolution outshot the Red Bulls 9-5, with four shots on goal to two for the Red Bulls.

Carlos Miguel Coronel had one save for the Red Bulls.

Both teams next play Wednesday, the Revolution vs. Nashville and the Red Bulls against Cincinnati.

Cincinnati 0, D.C. 0: Kenneth Vermeer had three saves for Cincinnati in a tie with D.C. United. Cincinnati (3-7-5) and United (6-7-3) each had eight shots. Cincinnati had two shots on goal and United had three. Bill Hamid made two saves for United. Both teams next play Wednesday.

Miami 2, Montreal 1: Gonzalo Higuain scored a pair of goals and Inter Miami defeated CF Montreal. Joaquin Torres gave Montreal (6-6-4) a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute. Higuain tied it at 1 for Miami (38-3). Higuain sealed the victory for Miami in the 69th minute, assisted by Gregore. Montreal outshot Miami 10-8, with two shots on goal to four for Miami. Nick Marsman made one save for Miami. James Pantemis had two saves for Montreal. Both teams next play Wednesday. Miami visits Orlando City and Montreal plays host to Atlanta United.
