Homes on demand
When the COVID-19 pandemic ruled out inperson home tours, the Capital Region Builders and Remodelers Association turned to TV production to show off its members’ work.
CRBRA produced a 30-minute special, “Capital Region Homes on Demand,” featuring 12 builders and remodelers. It premiered Sept. 26, but there are many more opportunities to watch it.
Filming a special offered the group advantages not possible in the traditional Parade of Homes format, CRBRA’S PRE-COVID tradition.
“With Capital Region Homes on Demand, we found we were able to feature our remodeler members who typically can’t participate in the traditional Parade of Homes,” said Kristen Egelston, CRBRA executive officer. “For new construction builders, their segments could feature photography from any project so it allowed the opportunity to show more of their body of work and communities. An added bonus was being able to highlight the close relationships our builder and remodeler members have with local suppliers who are associate members of our association.”
