Lowdown: Fraine has proved particularly dynamic in T20 cricket and has a strike-rate of 154.
GEORGE HILL – Age: 20

Lowdown: England U19 Hill broke into the Yorkshire first XI last year and equipped himself encouragingly.
TOM KOHLER-CADMORE – Age: 26 Role: Right-hand batsman
Lowdown: An increasingly prolific and proficient batsman, he has the potential to represent his country in both red and white-ball cricket.
DOMINIC LEECH – Age: 20
Role: Right-arm pace bowler Lowdown: England U19 Leech made his first-team debut last summer, playing two games in the Bob Willis Trophy.
TOM LOTEN – Age: 22
Role: Right-hand batsman
Lowdown: A tall batting all-rounder, Loten caught the eye on his first-class debut in the final game of the 2019 season against Warwickshire at Edgbaston. ADAM LYTH – Age: 33

Lowdown: Quite simply one of the best Yorkshire players of the modern era. With more than 10,000 first-class runs to his credit and an average a shade under 40, Lyth’s qualities speak for themselves. DAWID MALAN – Age: 33

Lowdown: Malan’s absence at the Indian Premier League is a blow. DUANNE OLIVIER – Age: 28

Role: Right-arm leg-spinner Lowdown: A fractured skull put paid to the second half of his 2019 campaign and he missed latter stages of last year’s Blast - along with Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Matthew Fisher - after David Willey’s positive Covid test.
ADIL RASHID – Age: 33
Role: Right-arm leg-spinner Lowdown: It is two years since Rashid last played for Yorkshire but still one of the world’s greatest spinners. MATTHEW REVIS – Age: 19
Role: Right-hand batsman, right-arm medium bowler
Lowdown: First-class debut at the back end of 2019 was one to forget: he made 9 and 0 against Kent at Headingley. But he was only 17 and is highly regarded.
JOE ROOT – Age: 30

Lowdown: What is there left to say about one of the greatest batsmen in the game’s history? Not much, apart from the fact that Root, if anything, seems to be getting even better.
JACK SHUTT – Age: 23
Role: Right-arm off-spin bowler Lowdown: After some fine T20 performances for Yorkshire in 2019, Shutt made his first-class debut last summer. JOSH SULLIVAN – Age: 20
Role: Right-arm leg-spinner Lowdown: Sullivan has come up through the county ranks and is brother of Academy left-arm spinner Harry. JONATHAN TATTERSALL – Age: 26 Role: Right-hand batsman, wicketkeeper Lowdown: Having developed into a fine wicketkeeper, Tattersall is now an important member of the Yorkshire side. JORDAN THOMPSON – Age: 24 Role: Left-hand batsman, right-arm seamer Lowdown: An injury to fellow allrounder Matthew Waite on the eve of last season opened the door to Thompson, who was the standout performer in 2020. MATTHEW WAITE – Age: 25
