He returns to Doctors in Thu’s episode, this time playing famous 90s ventriloquist Frankie Clitheroe, who’s injured his arm but is also struggling in his relationship with his son, Toby. Toby has always believed that Frankie loves his ventriloquist’s doll more than him, and when Frankie refuses to go to A&E, opting to drive to Newcastle for a show instead, tempers flare. But can Al act as peacemaker?
