Jewel in the crown Devon Business Show returns this year
Stuart Elford, CEO of Devon & Plymouth Chamber, looks ahead to the unmissable return of the Devon Business Show this September
South West is an amazing place to do business, with wonderful opportunities to learn, collaborate and build powerful new connections.
Our Devon & Plymouth Chamber of Commerce calendar is packed with interesting, innovative and informative networking events, and we have some incredible plans for 2022 - in person, online and hybrid.
The jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the Devon Business Show, which returns to Plymouth Pavilions after a long wait and in an exciting new format.
This high-profile forum takes place on September 28 - and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever!
Maybe you’re looking for expert advice and information to help take your business to the next level?
Or perhaps you want to showcase your products and services to a wide range of potential customers and suppliers?
The ground-breaking Show provides the perfect platform to showcase how businesses in Devon and Plymouth have rebounded strongly since the pandemic.
A contemporary layout for a new era will feature seven sector zones, with innovative and interactive exhibition opportunities. There will also be a series of podcasts and live broadcasts during the event.
This year’s theme also reflects the Devon & Plymouth Chamber’s three strategic priorities for 2022: People, Planet, Purpose.
Attendance for visitors to the Show is free, and you can register your interest now in exhibiting, attending or sponsoring by filling out the form on this page: https:// devonchamber.co.uk/devon-business-show/
If you are thinking about booking a stand, now is the time to act as demand from exhibitors is extremely high!
The Chamber also has a range of affordable and exciting sponsorship packages available for the Show. To find out more, please email helen.hart@devonchamber. co.uk
This April we hosted a fantastic County Conversations event at Petroc, when we heard from a number of wonderful guest speakers and enjoyed a tour of the College’s state-of-the-art Barnstaple campus. Huge thanks also to Seetec Pluss, our new partner for this popular event.
Our packed events programme this spring also features an unmissable collaboration between the Chamber and Plymouth Marine Network for a special event at the National Marine Aquarium on May 10.
This is truly a rare opportunity to meet the key personnel responsible for taking forward and developing Plymouth Sound National Marine Park and Plymouth and South Devon Freeport.
Finally, I want to thank all the wonderful businesses who have donated products and services for our online Auction for Ukraine.
We asked our members to donate prizes to us that we can auction online throughout April, with proceeds going to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal fund.
