A GROWING architecture practice which has worked on eye-catching housing schemes around the South West has become the latest business to relocate to Plymouth Science Park.

4D Architects Studio provides professional architectural services across a range of sectors including healthcare, residential and student accommodation, industrial, commercial, medical, and retail, and uses the latest technology and software to deliver a high quality client-centric approach.

Since the practice was set up in 2019 by Lee Cheetham and Ben Warren, 4D Architects has enjoyed steady business growth and has received multiple planning approvals, including housing developments providing more than 150 homes, listed building approvals, and some commercial project approvals.

The firm currently has more than 200 modern homes and apartments being constructed on sites across the South West.

Among the projects are Florence Park, in Callington; Pentire Avenue, in Newquay; Grenville Road, in Lostwithiel; Kergilliak Road, in Falmouth; Cherry Pie Lane, in Sparkford: Station Road, in St Columb Major; the executive family dwelling Harris House, in Elburton; and the “sleep pod” accommodation being created at Plymouth’s Hamoaze House drug and alcohol rehab centre.

In addition to directors Mr Warren and Mr Cheetham, the firm includes architectural designer Katie Mes and architectural assistant Kelly Vinecombe.

Relocating from the Plympton area of the city, 4D Architects Studio is the latest tenant to join the thriving advanced engineering community at Plymouth Science Park. The move comes as the business continues to expand its operations and facilitate the growth of the team.

Mr Cheetham said: “We’re really looking forward to joining the community at Plymouth Science Park and starting the next chapter in our development, we hope that the move will allow us to continue to grow and expand as a company.”

Fay Davies, business development manager at Plymouth Science Park, said: “Plymouth Science Park is home to a thriving community of advanced engineers including architects, consultants, semiconductor manufacturers and many more. We are delighted to welcome 4D Architects Studio to the community.”
