Are others living in a parallel universe?

ARE some people living in our country in a parallel universe??

In my universe, we have had the coronavirus, lockdown, all sorts of problems... many people have had the heartbreak of losing loved ones, yet there still seem to be many people who don’t seem to understand there is a problem.

We have heard endless complaints, they locked down too late, too quick, why don’t they ease the lockdown, why have they eased the lockdown, and of course endless criticism from the opposition parties.

But it’s easy to criticise when you don’t have to make any difficult decisions, isn’t it, and daily negativity from the news channels, which always take the leftist attitude, they still hate Boris for winning such a large majority.

And now people on holiday in Spain, why can’t we have several days’ warning, why have we got to isolate... in other words, I want to stay on holiday picking up the virus and then come back and spread it all around.

I’m not being mean to people on holiday, but they must have realised there could be a problem if there is any flare-up in the destination country?

The virus has cancelled my holiday and I doubt I’ll get my money back, and if I do it probably won’t be for months.

And now the sudden local lockdown and restrictions, why only 24 hours notice? Well, I would have thought it was obvious, the virus moves fast, once there is a problem you have to act fast, it’s no good saying we’ll lock down sometime next week, it needs to be NOW.

Is that really so difficult to understand?
