Not that he needs to prove himself as a leader but it’s good for him and it’s recognition of what he’s already achieved in the game.
It will be great for him and great for us moving forward over the next six months or so.
Q: The players have obviously enjoyed being on the French Riviera, have you as coaches had a bit of down time? WG:
We’ve been able to walk along the promenade.
I think the pleasing thing is it’s been a little warmer out here than it has been back in the UK.
That’s made training a bit more enjoyable from that perspective.
And, again, it’s a bit similar to what we might expect later in the year.
