When Concorde first took to the skies fifty years ago, the world watched in awe as an exciting new era of faster-than-sound travel roared into life. Concorde flew higher and faster than any airliner then or since, cruising at an average of 1,320 mph, she cut trans-atlantic flight times in half. Her final flight in 2003 marked the sad end to a great era but despite this she is still an icon of one of the greatest achievements ever in aviation.

Only 4,999 have been minted.
