Accies star Mickael in demand
HAMILTON ACCIEs striker Mickael Antoine-Curier looks to be on his way out of New Douglas Park.
A number of clubs in England have enquired about his availability and were given encouragement to make an offer for the 31-year-old.
the former Hibs and Dundee front man is in his second spell at the club and has netted eight times this season, with Hamilton not losing a game when he has scored.
However, a parting of the ways looks set to be on, with the Premiership side believed to be keen on Falkirk striker Rory Loy as his replacement.
A source at the Accies said: “A bid for Mickael was not expected during this window, however, a couple of clubs from England have been in touch.
“If firm offers come in they will be put to Mickael and his representatives and they will decide what the next step will be.”
Alloa Athletic are weighing up a move for Ryan Hutchinson, brother of former Motherwell star shaun, as the Championship side seek January reinforcements.
Hutchinson, 21, was previously on the books of st Johnstone and Celtic as a teenager before joining Blyth spartans last summer.
He has impressed for the Croft Park outfit, playing a major part in their fairytale run to the FA Cup third round, where they suffered a narrow 3-2 defeat against Birmingham City.
Hutchinson arrived on trial earlier this week as he attempts to impress manager Barry smith sufficiently to win a switch from England’s eighth tier to the scottish Championship.
the towering midfielder featured in a non-competitive game at the Indodrill stadium on tuesday evening.
Ryan’s older brother, shaun, now plies his trade with Fulham, but was a firm favourite at Fir Park, playing more than 100 games during his six-year stint in North Lanarkshire.
