They answered any questions I had. It was an easy process
Drawing up a Last Will And Testament is one of the most important things you will ever do. It ensures your wishes are followed without complications and those you care about will be looked after.
With that in mind, it’s vital that whoever you engage for the process is someone you can trust and will walk you through it without confusing you with legal jargon.
Shonagh Roulston, 51, found that with ILAWS. In her own words, the firm made the experience “great and straightforward”.
She decided to contact them after a number of deaths around her made her realise a Will was something she should not put off any longer.
“I thought it was time,” says the business manager. “I’d heard about ILAWS, so I phoned them up and made an appointment.”
Things moved quickly from there. A representative from the firm visited Shonagh at her home in Hillington, Glasgow. He took her through the process in detail, explaining exactly what it entailed, so she could proceed without any doubts over what she was getting into.
“He was very pleasant,” says Shonagh. “He explained everything and answered any questions that I had. It was an easy process. He put it in ways that normal people would understand. There was no ‘legal speak’ as it were. Everything was explained in detail.”
It all went through without a hitch and Shonagh soon had the document completed, giving her peace of mind.
For Shonagh the process was extremely satisfactory and her experience with ILAWS was one she enjoyed.
“They’re very pleasant,” she says. “The staff were lovely to deal with. They were helpful and answered any questions I had.”
So what would she tell those considering approaching ILAWS in the future?
“I’d certainly recommend them. They explain everything to you, which is very helpful. So you go into it with your eyes open. You know exactly what you’re asking for. You know what you’re getting.”
