Father did not want to leave

-

Dear June

Even after 15 years, I miss my dad more than ever.

He was my best friend and we did everything together.

I’d love to know if he’s still watching out for me.

Who came for him? As he was parting he sat up, looked up and said “Go away, I’m not ready yet.” Alan, email.

When we have such a close bond and loving relationship with a parent, it is very difficult for us to let go.

At the end of their life, a loving parent will hang on through sheer determination in order to be with their child (especially if they know they are needed) even though their body has virtually given up.

Your dad would have known how much you depended on him throughout your life and therefore would not have wanted to leave you.

At the end he would have been aware of his loved ones from the spirit side gathering around in readiness to accompany him safely over and felt he wanted more time with you.

Unfortunately, his body could no longer go on and he passed over into the care of those who also love him.

I get the impression he was met by an older lady who stood in front of many other family members from spirit side.

The strong family bond and connection you shared as a father and son can never be broken.

He will be watching over you like he always did.

Dear June

I have strong feelings or intuition, then something bad happens.

This was the case when my healthy husband took ill and passed away 19 days later from cancer.

I also lost my eldest son in tragic circumstances.

I’ve always believed in the spirit world and would love a sign that they are together. I feel this might help me come to terms with my loss.

Elizabeth, email.

Precognition is when you experience strong feelings of dread before a life-changing event or tragedy.

Those of a sensitive nature can receive these through extrasensory perceptions in dreams, feelings and visions.

Your husband and son are together watching over you, so don’t worry about them.

I get the impression you’ve already received a few signs from them in a bid to alert you of their presence.

In time, when life has gone full circle, you’ll be reunited.
