Thai police investigate CNN crew after killings

Thai police are investigati n g a r e p o r t t h a t a C N N c r e w i n a p p r o p r i a t e l y entered the day care cent r e whe r e mor e t h a n 2 0 pre-schoolers were killed as they were reporting on the attack, authorities said.

D a n a i c h o k B o o n s o m , h e a d o f t h e l o c a l t o w n - ship administration, told reporters as he left the Na Klang district p olice station that he had submitted his report on the incident alleging unauthorised entry on to the government proper t y, and that police were investigating.

"L e t t h e l e g a l p r o c e s s run its course, I don't want to disclose all the details," he said.

“Let the p olice do their work investigating."

Authorities began looking into the incident after a Thai reporter posted an image on social media of two members of the crew leaving the scene, with one climbing over the low wall and fence around the comp ound, over p olice tap e, and the other already outside.

"The team gathered foota g e i n s i d e t h e c e n t r e f o r around 15 minutes, then left," CNN said in its tweet.

"D u r i n g t h i s t i m e , t h e cordon had been set back in place, so the team needed to climb over the fence at the centre to leave."
