An e-mail has surfaced at a select committee showing the Prime Minister's personal authorisation for Pen Farthing and his animals to be evacuated from Kabul. Boris Johnson's involvement had been denied by No 10.

@cattdeborah wrote: “For me it's not about whether he authorised the evacuation or not, it's that he stated that he had not intervened and now it surfaces in the form of an e-mail that he did intervene. Yet another case of him not being able to tell the truth.”

@Kilted tweeted: “Wait a minute… who did you all think would have authorised this and all other evacuations? His authorisation doesn't mean he intervened by putting this evacuation ahead of others. Bit of a stretch, this one."

Actor Peter Dinklage has accused producers of a liveaction Snow White remake of hypocrisy by taking pride in diversity by casting a Latina actress in the lead while making a “backwards” feature about “dwarfs living in a cave”.
