#BORISJOHNSON

An e-mail has surfaced at a select committee showing the Prime Minister's personal authorisation for Pen Farthing and his animals to be evacuated from Kabul. Boris Johnson's involvement had been denied by No 10.

@cattdeborah wrote: “For me it's not about whether he authorised the evacuation or not, it's that he stated that he had not intervened and now it surfaces in the form of an e-mail that he did intervene. Yet another case of him not being able to tell the truth.”

@Kilted tweeted: “Wait a minute… who did you all think would have authorised this and all other evacuations? His authorisation doesn't mean he intervened by putting this evacuation ahead of others. Bit of a stretch, this one."

@janestillman added: “What interests me is that it has taken [MP Tom] Tugendhat so long to bring it to light. This happened 5 months ago. It seems that everyone is too busy looking for things to discredit the Prime Minister instead of doing their real jobs. ”

@pastillekoala replied: “The committee only obtained the e-mail last week.”

@chunkybrit asked: “When is someone going to chop down on all the leaks? They serve no purpose and only benefit those who leak them and the media. Is there no respect from the media for the electorate generally and is the only aim destabilisation of government?”

#SNOWWHITE

Actor Peter Dinklage has accused producers of a liveaction Snow White remake of hypocrisy by taking pride in diversity by casting a Latina actress in the lead while making a “backwards” feature about “dwarfs living in a cave”.

@integri yty_is asked: “What does he want? Snow White and the Seven Samurai?”

@tarotpriestess1 wrote: “Didn’t they live in a cottage and work in a mine?”

@mrpoopington wondered: “Wasn't he happy to be the butt of the joke in the Elf dwarf scene, though?”

@freezinwold suggested: “They should remake it and instead of a Latino Snow White, the character should be played by Kiefer Sutherland. Instead of dwarfs it’s vegan vampires and for diversity reasons they can come out in both night and day. Also, set it in Brighton.”

@highlandshobbit tweeted: “May we recommend Snow White and the Seven Hobbits?”
