Both sides pushed on after the interval but there was no further score thanks to some fine defending from both sides.

Player-boss Leigh Watson, who also played for Edgehill in the past, in his final match in charge of his home village club, singled out Ross Triffitt as his team’s man of the match.

I’Anson, a former Snainton teammate of Watson’s, picked out left-back Dave Bell, another ex-Snainton player, as the Edgehill Reserves man of the match.
