Overview:

St Albans Rugby Club are seeking a talented individual to full fill the role of Head Coach with their Directors of Rugby to plan and deliver structured season maximising the potential of their players. St Albans play in London North West 3

Person Spec:

Experienced. Ideally level 3 or qualified by being very experienced. A leader. Ability to harness, collaborate and give direction to assistant coaches. A man-manager.

Responsibilities:

To be Head Coach working alongside Directors of Rugby (DoR) to plan club rugby activities to deliver success. To prepare, plan and execute mid-week structured club training. To select, prepare and manage 1st XV - mid week training and match days. To assist/advise upon player recruitment.

Commitment:

Training; Current schedule is twice weekly training, coach to advise and lead. Expectation is to be present for the majority of these, in absence to plan with DoR the activities for the session. Match Days; To attend and run the bench and manage the 1st XV on League match days.
