Milton Golf Club’ s Th ali a Martin has earned an entry into the Italian Open on the Ladies European Tour.

The three-round event starts on Thursday and Solheim Cup star Caroline Hedblom is in the field.

Martin will be hoping to build on her 14th place finish in last month’s New South Wales Open in Australia, her best result as a professional.

Her ranking wasn’t high enough to get into last week’s Belgian Open, but she will tee off at the Golf Club Margara in Fubine chasing a share of the 200,000 Euros prize fund.

Fellow Milton member Robin Williams, who turned professional last year, has so far earned just over $3,000 dollars on the APT tour in the Southern US, but has been inactive in recent weeks. Latest local club results: MILTON
