FANS HAVE THEIR SAY: How the supporters rate Panthers’ chances
Great to have an out-and-out number one and I think we will always be strong at number six. If we get the lad hitting the ground hard we can be a surprise package this year. It’s a decent looking side. Not good, but not bad either – probably one change away from challenging again. Lunna to be the biggest improver, Grondal to struggle and could well be gone after the first set of averages due to Nicholls’ 9.72 average taking a hit. Solid but unspectacular. Should be okay at home, but I fear they will struggle away. Ignoring potential injuries, I don’t see them finishing above Sheffield, Ipswich, Glasgow or Lakeside so will probably be midtable at best. Looking for home and away consistency from MPT, fulfilling his potential from Emil, solid scoring from Ulrich, Simon and Nike, true nine-point average number one from Scotty and another step on from Tom. Champions obviously . . . Looks a solid team on paper and can’t wait to watch Scott Nicholls every week! The rest of the team has a good mix of experience and exciting youth. Roll on March 18. I think they have the potential for every rider to improve on their average. If they all do that will give us a good chance. Away scores are the things that let us down so hoping these riders have the experience of other tracks. Think Scott will be a great role model for the team. A big ask in a very competitive league, but NEVER under-estimate the power of teamwork and belief! #provethedoubterswrong
