RYHOPE CW hit nine goals past relegation-bound Washington,with James Ellis scoring four goals.

Craig Scott's brace saw Ashington beat Seaham Red Star 4-0, while Chris Winn's double gave Bishop Auckland a 2-0 win over North Shields.

Team Northumbri­a came from behind to beat Stockton Town 2-1 and Marske United had four different scorers in a 4-1 win at Whitley Bay.

Meanwhile Penrith and Dunston UTS shared four goals in a draw.

Thibault Charmey scored all of Newton Aycliffe's goals in a 4-1 win at rock-bottom Billingham Synthonia.

Late goals from Adam Burnicle and Kyle Patton saw Shildon beat Consett 2-0 at Dean Street.

Nathan O'Neill’s second half-hattrick gave Sunderland RCA a 3-1 win over Newcastle Benfield, who led through Jake Orrell at the break.

FREDDIE POTTER netted a late brace as runaway leaders Runcorn Linnets put five past relegation-threatened Maine Road.

Daniel O’Brien’ set Linnets on their way to a 5-0 victory by thumping in a penalty on 21 minutes before threegoals in the final eight minutes rounded off a dominant performanc­e.

Widnes kept up their pursuit of the leaders with a fifth successive league victory as first-half goals from Michael Grogan and Jack Banister earned them a comfortabl­e 2-0 win over struggling visitors AFC Liverpool.

Eighth-placed 1874 Northwich still have nine games in hand over the top two and Scott McGowan’s quick-fire brace kept alive their faint hopes of a late title-charge with a 3-0 win at Irlam.

Northwich Victoria’s thrilling 3-2 victory at Winsford United was overshadow­ed by a serious leg injury to Vics’ Adam Robinson.

NORTHERN COUNTIES EAST

JOSH BATTY smashed a 19 minute hat-trick as relegation battling Hall Road Rangers grabbed a dramatic 4-3 win at Worksop.

The hosts led 2-1 but Batty equalised on 71 minutes and completed his treble with goals in the 84th and 90th minute – the latter a penalty.

Leaders AFC Mansfield came from behind to beat title rivals Pickering Town 2-1 as Oliver Fearon rifled home ia late winner.

Second-placed Pontefract, who have five games in hand over AFC Mansfield, were 2-0 victors against Harrogate with goals from Mark Whitehouse and Ele Hey.

Jake Day scored five goals as Bridlingto­n battered bottom club Clipstone 8-1.

UNITED COUNTIES LEAGUE

TOM WAUMSLEY hit a hat-trick to keep Yaxley at the top of the table with a 6-0 win against Desborough Town.

In second spot with games in hand are Wisbech Town who beat visitors Cogenhoe United 3-0 with goals from Alex Beck, Adam Millson and Josh Davison on his debut.

Third-placed Newport Pagnell Town scraped a 1-0 win over Boston Town courtesy of an Adam Pryke goal.

Holbeach United hit six without reply past second from bottom visitors Oadby Town.

Lying fifth but still in with a chance of the title are Deeping Rangers who beat Wellingbor­ough Town 6-2 at home. There was two goals for Scott Mooney and one each for Scott Copeland, Mike Simpson, Dan Flack and Chris Hollist. Elsewhere Sleaford Town and Peterborou­gh Northern Star won 4-3 and 1-0 respectivl­ey.

MIDLAND LEAGUE

RICHARD GREGORY hit an 85th minute equaliser as leaders Bromsgrove Sporting salvaged a point in a 2-2 draw at Long Eaton United.

Title rivals Coleshill Town were unable to take advantage after they let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 at home to Shepshed Dynamo. Thirdplace­d Worcester City were also held to a 1-1 draw by visitors Rugby Town.

Highgate United were the only winners in the top four, an Aaron Brown penalty giving them a 1-0 win at home to Boldmere St Michaels.

Rocester’s miserable season continued as a 4-0 defeat at Sporting Khalsa left them 12 points adrift at the bottom but fellow strugglers South Normanton Athletic picked up vital points in a 3-2 defeat of Lye Town – Jack Tyson netting a goal in each half. Elsewhere, AFC Wulfrunian­s drew 2-2 at Coventry Sphinx and Westfields drew 1-1 at Loughborou­gh University.

ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE

GREAT WAKERING ROVERS stretched their lead at the top to three points, beating Burnham Ramblers 4-0.

Second-placed Redbridge were held to a 4-4 draw by Waltham Forest as Christian Owusu completed his hat- trick to snatch a last gasp point for Forest.

Southend Manorand and Woodford Town 2017 also produced an entertaini­ng 3-3 draw.

Fourth placed Basildon United came away with a 2-0 victory against FC Romania and Takeley fell to a pair of second half goals at West Essex.

Enfield 1893 continued their excellent 2018 form with an impressive 4-0 victory over Hullbridge Sports.

There were 2-1 victories for Sporting Bengal United and bottom club Hackney Wick,

Second from bottom Wadham Lodge picked up a well-earned point at home to Clapton.

EASTERN COUNTIES

MILES POWELL struck twice for second placed Felixstowe & Walton United as they closed the gap on leaders Coggeshall Town to just one point after a 4-0 away win against ten-man Wroxham. Coggeshall ran out 3-1 winners away to Stanway Rovers and have a game in hand on Felixstowe.

Godmanches­ter Rovers remain third after a 2-1 away victory over Hadleigh United and Josh Mayhew equalled a league record with his 50th goal of the season as fourth placed Stowmarket Town secured a 1-0 win at Great Yarmouth Town.

Elsewhere, Fakenham Town remain in the drop zone after losing 3-0 at home to Saffron Walden Town and bottom side Wivenhoe Town drew 1-1 at home to Gorleston.

Histon thumped struggling Ipswich Wanderers 6-1 at home and hosts FC Clacton lost 2-1 against Kirkley & Pakefield. RORY HAYWARD

SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS

WELWYN GARDEN CITY secured the Premier Division title after a dramatic 2-1 win at home to Wembley with Tyler Hatherley netting an injury time penalty.

Their status as champions was confirmed afted second-placed Berkhamste­d could only draw 0-0 at Colney Heath.

Leighton Town kept the pressure in third after beating Leverstock Green, 6-2 at home. Victory leaves Leighton six points behind Berkhamste­d but with two games still in hand.

London Tigers remain in relegation trouble despite an excellent 1-1 draw at Cockfoster­s, as do Oxhey Jets who lost 3-1 at Hadley.

Elsewhere Biggleswad­e United won 3-1 at home against St Margaretsb­ury, Hoddesdon Town lost 3-1 at home to Harpenden Town and Tring Athletic recorded an excellent 10 win at London Colney.

COMBINED COUNTIES

WESTFIELD moved to within a point of the title after beating Colliers Wood United 3-1 at Woking Park. Max Blackmore bagged a decisive brace, while Jamil Okai also netted.

Bedfont Sports won the big promotion battle 1-0 at third-placed Sutton Common Rovers. The Eagles soared to success thanks to a 62nd-minute winner from debutant Mustafa Teriyaki.

Camberley Town filled fifth place after a 2-0 home win against Hanworth Villa.

Gavin Gordon’s Redhill revolution continued as they overwhelme­d North Greenford United 7-2,

Spelthorne Sports won 3-1 at Banstead Athletic, while CB Hounslow United played out a 1-1 draw with Knaphill.

Meanwhile Guildford City beat Epsom & Ewell 4-3 in a thriller. through a Dan Stewart brace and goals from Luke Beale and Evander Lopes.

SOUTHERN COMBINATIO­N

HAYWARDS HEATH TOWN remain top with five games left after a 2-0 win at East Preston, with Melford Simpson and Karl Akehurst both on target.

Dan Simmonds netted twice for second-placed Pagham as they ran out comfortabl­e 3-0 winners over Saltdean United and Three Bridges are up to third, two points behind Haywards Heath but with two games in hand, after a 3-0 victory at Eastbourne United AFC.

Horsham YMCA dropped to fourth after suffering a 2-1 defeat at home to Loxwood and Peacehaven & Telscombe secured a 1-0 home win over sixth-placed Chichester City.

Hassocks boosted their survival hopes with a 2-0 success over Worthing United and Littlehamp­ton Town were held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Uckfield Town. Elsewhere, Lee Robinson helped Newhaven secure a 3-0 home win over Arundel.
