THE BIG ESCAPE EDINBURGH

The Big Escape is a city-wide escape game played on your smartphone where teams must race around the capital cracking codes, solving puzzles and completing challenges without getting caught. Each team racks up points as they move across the city by solving a range of challenges and puzzles. Players will receive a pre-game briefing via email before the event and can arrive at the start location and begin any time they want and must escape the city before the other teams.

DYNAMIC EARTH

Dynamic Earth reopens its doors this weekend after a six-month Covid closure. To celebrate the reopening, the attraction is running its annual explorer pass offer throughout October, meaning anyone who buys a full price ticket will be able to enjoy a full year’s visits for free. Visitors in October will also get a sneak peek at the new planetarium which will be launching fully this winter.

LINES FROM SCOTLAND

The art of drawing is being celebrated through this exhibition, featuring work by three generations of painters, sculptors, textile designers and musicians. On show are some rarely seen works by artists such as Elizabeth Blackadder and Dorothy Hogg, among others. GLASGOW SCIENCE FESTIVAL: SCIENCE ON THE SOFA

This digital programme will be full of activities, talks, shows, workshops, and exhibitions. The events, designed to entertain and inspire, can all be enjoyed from the comfort of your own sofa.

INVERARAY CASTLE BRICKLIVE FANTASY KINGDOM

Inveraray Castle is hosting a colourful exhibition of brick models. The Bricklive characters link with real artefacts that visitors can find in the castle.
