The Courier & Advertiser (Fife Edition)
New health and social care hub
A revamped website has been launched offering news, information and blogs about Fife’s joint health and social care services.
The portal showcases initiatives of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership to bring care closer to home and support independent living for longer.
The partnership was formed in April 2016 as part of a nationwide drive to bring services provided by the NHS and council social work departments together.
Director Michael Kellett said: “There’s a wealth of information on our new website, from the latest news and details about the various projects the partnership is leading on across Fife and what’s happening in your local community, to blogs from me and others which people can subscribe to.
“Integration is the biggest change in the history of health and social care and teams across the services are at the heart of making positive change for local people and local communities more of a reality, each and every day.
“I encourage the public to check out the Change Projects section which features real-life case studies, as well as In Your Community where there are videos to give a quick guide on our very newest initiative at local level, which includes the voices of GPs, partners in the voluntary and independent sector and many, many more.”
