BLAIRHALL CRASH A driver escaped serious injury following a car accident on the A907 near Blairhall yesterday morning.

The 54-year-old female driver was treated by paramedics at the scene following the one-car incident at around 7.40am.

RAMBLERS MEET Dundee Ramblers will have a five-mile walk from Kinburn car park in St Andrews to Lade Braes today.

Anyone interested in joining them should meet at the Tay Bridge car park, at 10am, or at Kinburn car park, at 10.30am.

FREUCHIE FAIR Freuchie Primary School holds its Christmas craft fair today in the parish church hall, from 10am to 12pm.

Shoppers can buy handmade gifts and enjoy a coffee and mince pie.

BOWLING CLUB Kirkcaldy’s Victoria Bowling Club will stage a Christmas fair today at its base in Victoria Gardens, between 2pm and 4pm.

As well as a tombola, raffle and refreshmen­ts, there will be the usual stalls.

SMALL BUSINESSES MP Douglas Chapman is calling on shoppers to support small business owners in Fife this weekend on Small Business Saturday, an annual campaign which puts little enterprise­s in the spotlight.

ST NICHOLAS EVENT All Saints Church in North Castle Street, St Andrews, is holding its annual St Nicholas Fair this weekend.

It will run from 2 to 4pm today and from 11.30am to 2pm tomorrow in the church hall.

There will be stalls and seasonal produce and musical entertainm­ent. Entry is free.

CRICKET AGM The annual general meeting of Freuchie Cricket Club will be held tomorrow, at 2.30pm, in the club house.

LUNDIN MILL Lundin Mill Primary School will hold a Christmas fayre on Monday, from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Tickets, priced £2.50, include a drink and a snack and are available from the school or on the door on the night.

WINTER TALK Ladybank Forest Users Group will host a winter talk in Ladybank Parish Church on Monday, at 7pm.

Gareth Mason from the Forestry Commission will make a presentati­on on biodiversi­ty in forests.

MEN’S GATHERING The Men’s Club of Tulliallan and Kincardine Parish Church meets at 7.30pm on Monday in the Session House when the speaker’s topic will be Australia.

The Guild will hold its Christmas dinner at 7 for 7.30pm the following day in Tulliallan Golf Club.

ROTARY NUMBER Rotary Club of Kirkcaldy past president Iain Gow was the guest speaker at the latest meeting, giving a talk on 45170 which is a Lake Michigan buoy, a French postcode, an American frisbee golfer and the main topic a Stanier class steam locomotive which is now being restored at Bo’ness.
