Bank just on Top against the Rangers

BLYTH Rangers and Bedlington Bank Top shared nine goals, the latter edging home 5-4.

Goals for the Bank Top came from Reece Farrell (2), Tommy Wilkinson (2) and Liam Hornsby, Harry Sawyer bagging all four counters for the Rangers.

Bedlington Social Club proved much too strong for visitors Bubbles Ashington, running out 11-0 winners.

Joe Bolam notched four times and Stephen Lucas added a hat-trick, strikes from Peter Roberts, Josh Monaghan and Adam Ord and an own goal making up the tally.

Blyth Town Sunday and West Allotment played out a 2-2 draw.

On target for Blyth Town were Oliver Bernard and Jamie Patterson, for the Allotment Dean Smith and Liam Doyle.

Also sharing the points in another 2-2 draw were Station Lounge Ashington and Newsham and New Delaval SC.

Connor Willis claimed both goals for the Lounge, for the Newsham side Gavin Agnew and Paul Huck .

Ellington Plough defeated Bedlington Breakers 4-0, Jordan Anderson celebratin­g a hat-trick and Ally McClean also on the mark.

Bedlington Station SC prevailed 3-1 at Fat Ox Whitley Bay - The Ox leading through a Tom Conway finish before the Station Club hit back through Michael Simm, Lewis Samson and Ethan Page.
