IT’S time to make our minds up about which of this year’s songs we like best before casting our votes. No doubt there will be a few nul points out there because, let’s face it, the overall standard can be a little questionable, but there will also be a few genuine gems to enjoy.

SuRie performs the UK’s entry, Storm, but as in previous years, she isn’t expected to trouble the top of the chart.

Instead, it’s Israel, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic who are among the favourites.

Meanwhile, Laura (Katherine Parkinson) is campaigning for synth rights, while Joe (Tom Goodman) has opted for a technology-free life and Niska (Emily Berrington) has withdrawn from the struggle to pass herself off as human.
