Harry girl’s foodie fight 1D hunk’s Tess blasts Bake Off Ruby

HARRY Styles’ new girlfriend Tess Ward is in a messy food fight with Great British Bake Off runner-up Ruby Tandoh.

The former One Direction hunk’s new date, who writes about healthy nosh and diet, accused Ruby of contributing to sugar addiction.

Tess, 27, sneered: “Let’s all make baking books and wonder why the world has health and sugar addiction problems.”

Ruby, 25, who came second in the fourth series of the BBC show, hit back: “Funny how Tess Ward, denizen of the weight-loss industry and full-time diet shill, can stand up for ‘body positivity’ when it suits her.

Harry, whosese previous favourite foods when he was with the boyband were described as sweetcorn and nachos, was introduced to chef and model Tess by mutual friends three months ago.

He is said to be bowled over by The Naked Diet author and her “clean food” eating.

Ruby, who was runner-up on the Bak Bake Off’s 2013 show, has written two books – Crumb: The Baking Book and Flavour: Eat What Y You Love.

Mean Meanwhile, Harry kept out of the row last night when he played ala last-minute secret gig at The Garage in Highbury, north London, to the delight of 600 fans who were able to buy tickets for just £10.
