Accessorize all areas with WWF collection
THERE is one man who has been warning us of the impacting climate crisis for decades. His voice has been imitated in endless comedy parodies, but the words he speaks are no laughing matter.
I am of course talking about the legendary David Attenborough. At 95 years of age, he won’t be around forever, and who is going to take over the baton when he leaves us?
It’s more important than ever to watch his documentaries and ACTUALLY listen to what he is saying to find out what we can ACTUALLY do to help win this battle against climate change. There is an organisation, which again has been warning us for decades about the impending doom – the WWF (World Wide Fund For Nature) – founded in 1961 it focuses on wilderness preservation and the reduction of human impact on the environment.
There is an abundance of information on what can be done on the WWF site, and you can sign up to a £3 monthly donation for the cause.
However, another way of helping is by filling your home with some beautiful bits – yes really – as Accessorize has teamed up with the WWF to create a collection inspired by the film David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet. Developed with the organisation’s environmental policies in mind, it features natural silks, organic cottons and Oeko-Tex fabrics, which have been certified as safe for people and planet. And all purchases will see Accessorize make a donation to WWF’s work.
