SENIOR CITIZENS ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER

The annual dinner is being held at the Rob Roy Motel on Monday, December 9 at 6pm for 6.30pm. Transport can be arranged. Anyone requiring transport please contact a member of Strathard Community Council. Where possible organisers will arrange for home uplifts, however there will be the following uplift points - Kinlochard, Limecraig Avenue, Manse Road, The Garage all at 5.30pm.

FUNDRAISIN­G QUIZ

Tonight (Friday), Killearn Primary School will host its Banksy’s Festive Fundraisin­g Quiz in Killearn Village Hall at 7.30pm.

CHRISTMAS TREE

Tomorrow (Saturday), Colourful Killearn will be putting up the Christmas tree at Killearn Kirk at 10am. Helpers welcome.

COFFEE MORNING

Killearn Kirk Guild Christmas coffee morning will be held in the kirk hall from 10am until noon tomorrow (Saturday) and will include a baking stall and sales table.

KILLEARN KIRK

On Sunday, the second in Advent, the service will be conducted by Rev Stuart Sharp. This will be an all age service when gifts will be accepted for donation to the Salvation Army in Stirling who will give them to children for whom Christmas might well pass them by. The Women’s Bible Study and Fellowship Group meets on Monday, December 9 at 1.15pm. On Tuesday, December 10 the Kirk Session will start at 7.30pm.

STRATHENDR­ICK SINGERS CHRISTMAS CONCERT

The concert in Killearn Kirk takes place on Sunday, December 15 at 7pm. Tickets £10 adults, £25 family ticket and £3 children (including festive refreshmen­ts). Available from choir members or at the door. the Killin Hotel from 1.30-2.30pm each Wednesday, followed by 10-minute walk.

COUNCILLOR’S SURGERY

Councillor Jeremy McDonald will be in the primary school on Monday, Decemebr 16 at 7pm.
