COMMUNITY COUNCIL

Meets in Bannockbur­n Community Centre on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm.

BUTTERCUP WELL-BEING CAFE

The cafe meets in Allan Church Community Hall on Mondays from 2-3.45pm, The cafe is looking for volunteers. The church kindly gives the use of their hall, but it is a community cafe run by volunteers from the community for the community. If you would like to help in any way, please come along and offer your services. It is a memory and wellbeing café which is open to everyone. There is dominoes, jigsaws, knitting, participat­ion in craft and musical bingo - all enjoyed over a lovely cuppa, sandwiches and some homebaking. If you prefer you can just enjoy a chat with new friends and old. It is a happy place to be on a Monday afternoon, you will be made most welcome.

ALLAN CHURCH

Service on Sunday will be led by Janette Russell at 11.15am and welcome team 4 is on duty. The monthly prayer meeting is in the church hall after the service. All welcome. Summer club takes place in the church hall from the start of service and includes films, games and play. If you wish your child/children to attend please speak to Kirsty MacGowan (Sunday school superinten­dent). Creche available. If you can assist with the church floral displays speak to Margaret Baxter or help with digital hymnary/power point presentati­ons – speak to Lesley or Douglas.

MURRAYFIEL­D UF CHURCH

The next community quiz night is tomorrow (Thursday) at 7.30pm in the church hall. Come as a team or come and join a team. Cost is £4 per person. Tea in the Park continues on Friday, June 28 at 2.30pm in Ladywell Park with a gentle stroll round the top park followed by a cup of tea. Sunday’s service will be led by Rev Gary Barclay at 10.30am. The welcome team is Joan Martin and Mary Scott; the offering team is John Martin and Elizabeth Hastings.

LADYWELL CHURCH

Tomorrow (Thursday) is the last coffee morning until after the summer. Please come along from 10am till noon and show your support for this hard working team as they go off for a well earned rest. The service on Sunday at 11.15am will be led by the minister Rev Liz Robertson. Team Two will be on duty. Ladywell’s Afternoon Tea is being held on Saturday, July 27 from 2-4pm. Tickets priced £5 available soon.
