COMMUNITY LIBRARY

The community-run library is open on Monday 10am-2pm; Thursday 5-7pm; Friday 10am-noon and Saturday 10.30am-12.30pm. The grand opening is on Saturday, June 15 at 2.15pm in the Dumyat Centre with author Wendy H Jones, where there will be activities for all ages and refreshmen­ts. MENSTRIE PARISH CHURCH

Pulpit supply for the next few Sundays will be as follows: June 16 - Mrs Sandie Kerr; June 23 - Rev John Rushton; June 30 - Rev Paul Sewell. Tea in Two continues every Wednesday from 10.30-11.30am until June 26. It will then take a break and restart on September 4. There will also be teas starting at 10am on the last Saturday of each month through to September. All welcome. Donations are welcome for The Gate food bank in Alloa and deliveries are made after the last Sunday of each month. Please do not donate perishable goods as they may go off, before they are delivered. Monetary donations can also be made in lieu of goods. All welcome to services and activities.

MENSTRIE UF CHURCH

Sunday worship at 10am will be conducted by Mr John Caldwell. Rev Jason Lingiah will be conducting the Communion Service at Moncrieff UF Church in Alloa. Kirk Session and Congregati­onal Board meet on Tuesday, June 18 at 10.30am in the manse. Thanks to all who came and volunteere­d at the church fun day on Saturday from 11am4pm. Donations for The Gate foodbank in Alloa can be handed into the church or at the manse. CIVIL DEFENCE CLUB

Bingo on Wednesday and Sunday, eyes down 8pm. Entertainm­ent on Saturday with Linda Knight. Free hire of hall on Fridays.

YOGA IN A CHAIR

Class runs weekly at St Ninians Old Parish Church Halls on Tuesdays from 11.15am. Drop in charge of £5. Suitable for anyone who would like a yoga practice with additional support, due to injury, illness, find balancing a challenge or have difficulty getting up and down.

ST NINIANS COMMUNITY CHURCH

RE:Fresh Cafe with tea, coffee and cakes on Fridays from 11am to 12.45pm. This is the last RE: Fresh Cafe until Augsut 23. Service on Sunday at 10.30am. Both held in the Mayfield Centre.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL

St Ninians Community Council AGM will be held on Wednesday, June 19, at 7pm in the Community Room at Borestone Primary School. This will be followed by the regular monthy meeting. All residents welcome.

ST NINIANS OLD PARISH CHURCH

Bible Study Group will meet tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30pm. There will be an afternoon tea in the Parish Halls tomorrow (Thursday) from 2-4pm. All welcome. Service on Sunday at 10.30am will be a Family Service and will include the Sunday Club Prizegivin­g. The service will be conducted by Rev Gary McIntyre and will be followed by a further time of fellowship in the Parish Halls. Kirk Session meets on Tuesday, June 18 at 7.30pm.

COUNCILLOR’S SURGERY

Councillor Alison Laurie will be in the Mayfield Centre tonight (Wednesday) at 6.30pm.
