Frandy (Gleneagles) Best local bags from the bank: Andy Hunter (Alloa) caught and released 10; Barry Duffy (Alva) caught and released eight; Tom Monaghan (Stirling) kept two for 5lbs and released a further two; Mark Paterson (Stirling) caught and released four; Raymond Pirrie (Tullibody) caught and released 11; Ben McGovern (Sauchie) caught and released eight and Kenny Hutchison (Alloa) kept three for 6lb 8oz. Fishing from the boat: Stan Guzik and Louis Hansen (Sauchie) kept eight fish weighing 15lb and released a further two. On the angling club front Police Scotland (West) AC kept 46 fish weighing 87lb 10oz and released four and Bank of Scotland (Glasgow) AC kept nine fish weighing 19lb 12oz. The best flies and lures last week included the Green Buzzer, Cormorant, Red Diawl Bach, Sedge Muddler, Sedgehog, Yellow Dancer and Snatchers whilst the best fishing areas were the Middle, Far Shore and the Dam Wall. Orchill Trout Fishery (Braco) The welcome rain last weekend has slightly cooled the water. There has been a lot of natural fly life on the water and the fish are taking it very slowly so patience is required. Best local bags were Dave Wilkie (Stirling) two for 7lbs on Buzzers; John McEwan (Sauchie) three for 7lbs on a Fab; Andy Blair (Tullibody) used a Damsel to catch three for 10lbs 8oz on a Damsel; Cameron Bailey (Tullibody) three for 12lbs on a Damsel and Craig Myles (Tullibody) three for 14lbs on a White Lure.
