TO BE BACK

Laura home with Paul

-

Love Island runner-up Laura Anderson was back in her home town of Stirling yesterday (Thursday).

And she popped in to speciality store Tinkerbells Emporium in Friars Street following a morning filming at Stirling Castle.

While her experience in the ‘Love Island’ villa may have had its dramas and disappointments along the way, Laura received a few feelgood items from shop owner Lisa Davidson.

The store specialises in fairy and magic-inspired items and individual and whimsical gifts.

Lisa said: “I had organised a loveinspired gift from the shop, which she loved. She also posted a video of the shop on Instagram.”

Laura, a 29-year-old former flight attendant from Cambusbarron, was placed second in Monday night’s finale of the cult ITV2 show along with other half Paul Knops, 31.

The pair were beaten by bookies’ favourites Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham to the £50,000 prize.

During her time in the villa Laura was cruelly dumped twice, back-stabbed by so-called friends and mocked on social media over her age and claims she moaned a lot.

However, she became a fan favourite after comforting a fellow contestant who had stolen her then partner earlier in the show and her lack of bitterness despite other girls “mugging her off ” by stealing her boyfriends.

Laura, who lives in Dubai but attended Stirling High School, was initially coupled with Wes Nelson, 20, but his head was turned by Megan Barton.

The Scot was then coupled with Jack Fowler but she was left heartbroken a second time when Jack, 22, who sparked fury kissing Georgia on a date, then dumped Laura after hitting it off with the new Laura, 23.

But it could be third time lucky. Laura is now with Paul, 31, who claims to have kissed pop star Britney Spears.

Messaging on Instagram, Paul said yesterday of his visit: “Beautiful place, beautiful people .... Thank you.”

Laura tweeted: “Showing Paul, around Scotland. We are having the most amazing time. We couldn’t be happier right now!

“Thank you for all your continued support.

“We can’t thank you all enough.”
