Dance The Neil MacEachearn Band led the successful ceilidh in the village hall on January 1. A splendid raffle enhanced the Reading Room funds by £375. Organisers are grateful for the support received.

Sunday Blethers The first event of 2018 will take place in the village hall from 11am. Parish Church Christmas Eve service led by Rev Dr Valerie Allen was a joyful and heartwarming event. The offering raised £527.32 for Medic Malawi, which runs an orphanage, school and feeding centre. Sunday worship will take place at 10am, led by Dr Allen.
