Penbryn’s secluded sandy cove, this small site with just five pitches is perfect for people who like to get away from the crowds. It’s the perfect spot for walking and exploring the countryside, ideally suited for nature lovers and beach fans, whatever season.
2. Treleddyd Fawr Cottage, Pembrokeshire
Stay in possibly one of the last surviving vernacular cottages of Pembrokeshire, pictured. After an 18-month restoration the cottage has been brought back to life as a cosy one-bedroom retreat. Inside, it oozes rustic charm with its bumpy stone walls, low beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace.

Located at the entrance to the enchanting mansion and gardens of Plas Newydd, near the shores of the Menai Strait, this family-friendly cottage is ideally placed for exploring North Wales. Visitors might spot a glimpse of a red squirrel burying around this ‘Red Squirrel Lodge’.
