Newly single Davina goes house-hunting
IT was only on Saturday that she announced she was splitting from her husband after 17 years of marriage.
And it seems Davina McCall is already looking to move on, as she was spotted house hunting in East Sussex yesterday.
The 50-year-old former Big Brother presenter was seen chatting to an estate agent and being taken on a tour of properties near her former marital home.
It was the first time she had been seen since she revealed that her marriage to Matthew Robertson has ended.
Miss McCall, who was dressed in a quilted green bomber jacket, patterned leggings, and socks and sandals, looked downcast as she chatted on her mobile phone – although she was still wearing her wedding ring.
By contrast, Mr Robertson had been seen hours earlier without his wedding ring as he boarded a train in East Sussex.
Miss McCall was previously married to Andrew Leggett for three months in 1997.
She met Mr Robertson, a former presenter of Channel 4’s Pet Rescue, by chance as she walked her dog on Clapham Common and the couple married in 2000. They have three children: Holly, 16, Tilly, 14, and 11-year-old Chester.
In a statement on Saturday, Miss McCall said: ‘I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated. Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else, so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time.’
