Well done to Afternoon Nursery, Mr Nadin and Miss Holden’s classes for the best attendance for week ending September 12.

The Citizens of the Week for the week ending September 19 are Mr Nadin’s class for a fantastic assembly about the brain.

Recently the Year 5 and 6 children had a fun time making models of the brain using mod-roc.

An important visitor from the National College of Teaching and Learning was impressed with how well we could explain the parts of the brain.

Parents, please ask the children all about Learning Leadership at Hamer.

We have begun to give lots of opportunities to allow children to lead their own learning and that of each other. Exciting times!

Mr Moore would like to say: “Three weeks as your headteacher and loving it.

It has been lovely to see all the children looking very smart in their new uniform.
