Marillion’s Seasons End, originally released in 1989, introduced their “new boy” Steve ‘H’ Hogarth to the prog world. This year, the same line-up are celebrating 34 years together with new deluxe editions of that very record and we’ve got a set of the vinyl and CD boxes to give away to one lucky reader.
Both the five-LP and three-CD/Blu-ray sets contain new 2023 stereo remixes by longtime engineer Mike Hunter, live versions recorded last year at De Montfort Hall in Leicester, and updated and expanded artwork from Bill Smith Studio and Carl Glover. The Blu-ray includes a brand-new documentary entitled Seasons Change with in-depth interviews with the band chronicling the album’s recording process; as well as a second documentary, From Stoke Row To Ipanema; and HD promo clips of the singles Hooks In You, Easter and The Uninvited Guest. It also features a selection of B-sides, demos and early versions, as well as the Montreal Bootleg, recorded at Le Spectrum in 1990.
But that’s not all because the Marillion lads have also given us a limited-edition print signed by all the band, which we’ve added to the ‘seasonal’ bundle.
