Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show in 2016 and 2017 is going to be even bigger and better with the show running over three days from Friday March 31 to Sunday April 2.
The PC CC&RS brings together all aspects of classic motoring from the ever popular barn find display, to the heart of the show, the many restorations brought along by the 130+ clubs that have already booked, to the gleaming motors and proud as punch owners in the Pride of Ownership display. This year the Live Stage aims to complete two of PC’S most enigmatic projects…
Editor Danny Hopkins’ six-year epic restoration of his Jensen Interceptor II will come to an end live on stage as he and the team attempt to finish the car, start it up and drive it for the first time in over 35 years.
The other live build will involve the magazine’s long-term project – the unique Austin A105 Westminster Estate auto, which will be finished at the show. The car will be auctioned off in 2017 by Anglia Car Auctions to raise money for the Lennox Children’s Hospice later in 2017, but first the team from CBR Motorbodies and PC need to bolt it back together. Come and see if both, or neither of these projects
make it off the stage under their own power. With cars for sale from both dealers and Classic Car Auctions, live demonstrations from every club, a shed full of motoring celebrities and over 800 cars on display, don’t miss the season opener for real enthusiasts.
