Generations combine for hotel Christmas concert

-

Perth is being overrun with rats! Oh yes it is... and they are behind you!

The family favourite festive panto is back on stage at Perth Concert Hall starting tomorrow, Saturday, until Monday, December 26, with plenty of opportunities to take in the seasonal rib-tickler.

Directed by Ian Grieve and written by Alan McHugh, Dick McWhittington is a Fair City version of the much-loved tale - or indeed tail! - with Queen Rat and her rodent army swarming all over the streets.

But our hero of the hour is on his way to London to seek fame and fortune and doesn’t know that it is his destiny to save the city and become Provost.

It’s up to Perth’s very own fairy godmother, the Fairy Maid of Perth, to bring him back. But Dick won’t be alone.

He’ll stand side by side against Queen Rat with his very own ratcatcher - Kitty Cat - for a final showdown in the desert Kingdom of the great Sultan Vinegar.

Tickets ranging from £11.50 to £21.50 are on sale now.
