It Disney get any better than this
Jazzle Dazzle dancers are on form in Paris
Months of fundraising paid off for the dancers of Jazzle Dazzle as they completed the trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Paris.
The Renfrew dance school bagpacked, raffled and danced their way to their massive £32,000 target.
And the weeks of hard graft were all worth it as more than 30 young dancers headed for the home of Mickey Mouse and Cinderella for the “Future Cheer – Bring it On” competition.
Jackie Bryceland, the owner of the school who organised the trip, was delighted at how well it went.
She said: “It was just magical. The girls had such a lovely time.
“It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Taking part in the competition against some of the best dance schools from around the world was a great honour.”
And the talented young dancers were not just there to make up the numbers.
They secured 14 first places, one second place and one third place as well as the winning the overall grand championship, scoring the highest points for the Youth Pom dance.
Jackie added: “They did so well . They were up against schools from Spain, Italy, and Denmark and they performed so well.
“They were also chosen to take part in the Disney parade through the park which they loved. For some of the children and parents who came along this was the first time they had been out of the country.
“The girls are still talking about how magical an experience it was.
“I want to thank everyone who helped us raise the amount that we did.
“It shows that if you put your mind to something then you can achieve anything.”
