Bryant widow in court move

-

KOBE BRYANT’S widow has posted the names of four Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies she alleges shared graphic photos from the site of the helicopter crash that killed her husband, daughter Gianna and seven others.

Vanessa Bryant’s Instagram posts include images of portions of her lawsuit, which includes the names of four deputies.

IN an effort to cut food waste a major high street retailer is now selling “Mucky Spuds”. It appears that leaving soil on blocks out light and slows decay, almost doubling their shelf life.

During the younger end of my life, spuds lifted from our smallholding and garden always used to have their usual amount of Mother Earth attached. On Bonfire Night it was the practice to throw the newly lifted spuds into the red hot embers, eventually to be scoffed, including the skins and the like!

Similarly, in my last year at my local senior school, I along with other members of my year was allowed to go and help the farmers gather in their spuds, which was a godsend to our families, bringing in as it did extra cash and produce which not only helped the family budget, but provided “mucky spuds” for dinner-time favourites, such as jacket potatoes and chips. Nowadays, during the lockdown, I grow my own in two plastic containers just outside the back door. Currently I have seed potatoes sitting on my windowsill. Cannot wait for the growth to come through!!
