FAN: MY KIDNEY FOR CUP TICKET!

Preston supporter’s bizarre organ offer

-

A FOOTBALL fanatic has offered to swap one of his KIDNEYS in exchange for a sought-after ticket to an FA cup clash.

Michael Jackson, 52, is so desperate to see his beloved Preston North End take on premier league giants Manchester United, that he’s willing to give away an organ to make his dream come true.

He said tickets to the game are like gold dust and it’s been impossible for him to get a seat.

Michael said: “I’d sell a kidney to get a ticket. Someone suggested I should ride a giraffe, I’d do whatever it takes.

“I’d even swim from Cape Town to the River Ribble.

“It is on TV – but I want to be there in person, cheering on the Lilywhites. But it is impossible to get a ticket.”

Michael, who has lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, for the last 25 years, is hoping to make a pilgrimage back to Preston, Lancs, for the big game on February 16.

“I’ve put an appeal on Facebook,” he said. “I have to be at that game ORGAN GRINDER: Supporter Michael – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime match.

“I want to be there and hear the roar from my home town at Deepdale. If this never happens again in my lifetime and I miss it I will spend years in tears.”

The determined ex-pat is desperate to get him and wife Carol two tickets for the clash.

He added: “I spent all my money going to games when I was younger. I’ve followed North End’s cup run and I even wrote to the South African papers complaining that they don’t carry PNE’s score, because of the league they are in.

“I will pay whatever it takes.”
